You can set the following Geospatial Portal elements on the Settings tab:
To turn the coordinates display on or off,click the Show coordinates option. The coordinates are displayedin the bottom-left corner of the map window.
To turn the scale bar display on or off, click the Show scale option. The scale bar is displayed in the bottom-right corner of the map window.
To turn the navigator display on or off, click Show navigator.
To turn the cross-hair display on or off, click Show cross hair. The cross hair indicates the center of a map window.
To set the behavior for items in the select set, use the following settings, which determine how items are displayed on the map when you select objects in the data window:
View at current scale – After selecting an item in the data window, a corresponding object on the map is displayed and highlighted at the current map scale.
Center at current scale– After selecting an item in the data window, a corresponding object on the map is displayed and highlighted at the current map scale, and the object is centered. The map view changes.
Fit and zoom out – After selecting an item in the data window, a corresponding object on the map is highlighted and zoomed to the value in the field.
To restore default settings, click Reset values. You can change all settings except the coordinate system.
