Importing and Exporting Web Map Context (WMC)

This section is valid for the following product flavors: Geospatial Portal, GeoMedia WebMap Advantage, GeoMedia WebMap Professional, ERDAS Apollo Advantage, ERDAS Apollo Professional, GeoMedia WebMap Essentials.

Use Web Map Context (WMC) to work with WebMap Context XML documents. On the Tools tab, click WMC . A WMC window opens so that you can do the following:

• Export the current map view to the WebMap Context XML document where WMC information (the content of the map - without coverage) is saved. Only layers for connected WMS services can be exported into a WMC file. Export is performed on the Export tab in the WMC dialog box. Provide the Title, Abstract (optional), and keywords in the appropriate fields on the dialog box, and click Save Map Context in the lower-right corner.
• Import WMC documents. On the Import tab on the WMC dialog box, provide the path for a file to be imported, and click Load Map Context.
