Continuing Geometry

This functionality is available only for geometries of the area type.

To continue geometry:

1. Click the geometry to continue.
2. Click Continue geometry . In the map window, the cursor style changes to a cross hair.
3. Create geometry using the steps described in Adding a Feature to the Feature Class.
4. Move the cursor on the newly created geometry and then on the base geometry.

   Both geometries are highlighted at the same time.
